Shipping & Fulfillment
A unit price that ignores freight is not a real price. Here is how we move stock, and how we quote what it costs to get it to you.
Shipping methods
Four ways stock reaches you
Which one applies depends on the size of the order, not on which one we would prefer to run.
Small parcel
Single cases and light multi-case orders, shipped through national carriers with door-to-door tracking. The right choice for trial orders and fast replenishment.
Best for: 1 to 5 cases
LTL freight
Less-than-truckload freight for orders too large for parcel but short of a full trailer. Palletised, shrink-wrapped and labeled for the terminal network.
Best for: 1 to 6 pallets
Full pallet & FTL
Full pallet loads and dedicated trailers for larger commitments, including mixed pallets built across several lines from your order.
Best for: 6+ pallets
Direct to fulfillment center
On approved accounts we can ship straight into a marketplace fulfillment center or your prep partner, with documentation prepared for that route.
Best for: FBA sellers
The process
From confirmed order to delivery
1. Order confirmed
Your order is released to the floor once payment has cleared. If anything has changed since your quote (availability, a date code, a freight rate), we tell you before we pick it, not after.
2. Picked and checked
Every order is checked against the invoice before it is packed. Counts, condition and, where relevant, date codes.
3. Packed for the journey it is making
Stock heading onward to a fulfillment center is packed for that trip, not just for the trip to you. That is a different standard, and getting it wrong is expensive at the far end.
4. Dispatched with tracking
Tracking is emailed to you the day the order leaves us. If you need a status update later, contact us with your order reference and we will confirm where it has got to.
Freight and landed cost
Why we quote freight separately
Some categories are cheap per unit and expensive to move. Lawn fertiliser, incontinence products and liquid concentrates all have unit prices that look fine until you add the freight, at which point the margin can disappear entirely.
So we quote freight as its own line against your actual delivery point rather than folding an average into the unit price. It is less tidy, and it is the only way you can tell whether an order genuinely works.
On heavy and bulky lines, give us a delivery ZIP with your quote request and we will come back with landed cost rather than a unit price you would have to guess at.
If something goes wrong
Damage, shortages and delays
Things do occasionally go wrong in distribution. Pallets get damaged, counts come up short, freight networks run late. What matters is what happens next.
Report damage or a shortage within five business days of delivery, with photographs and the delivery paperwork. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before you sign. That single step makes a claim straightforward instead of contested.
We resolve it with a replacement, a credit or a refund depending on the situation. We do not require you to fight for it.
Want a landed cost on a specific order?
Send us the line, the quantity and your delivery ZIP. You will get unit cost, freight and a total, with a validity period, so the number holds while you work out whether it stacks up.
