About Moon Distributors
The supplier behind the seller
We are a wholesale distribution business. Our job is to make sure the stock behind your listings is predictable enough that you can plan around it.
Who we are
Distribution is a logistics business, not a marketing one
Moon Distributors supplies branded consumer goods in wholesale quantities to retailers, marketplace sellers and e-commerce businesses across the United States.
The wholesale space has collected a lot of noise: membership tiers, paid "supplier lists", courses sold alongside the goods. We are not in that business. We buy stock in volume, we hold it, and we sell it on to businesses that resell it. That is the whole model.
What that leaves us to compete on is unglamorous and hard to fake: whether the stock is actually there, whether the price holds, whether the delivery lands when we said it would, and whether someone picks up the phone when it does not.
We would rather supply one business well for five years than fifty businesses once.
Our mission
Take the uncertainty out of supply
Most sellers do not fail because they chose the wrong product. They fail because the supply behind it was unpredictable: stock that arrived late, a price that moved after the order went in, a line that quietly disappeared halfway through a season.
Our mission is to remove that variable, so the risk in your business sits where it belongs: in the decisions you make, not in whether your supplier delivers.
Our vision
The distributor sellers recommend to each other
We want to be the supplier a seller names when another seller asks who they buy from. That is not won with advertising. It is won by being consistent for long enough that people notice.
It means growing at the rate we can actually service, and turning down business we cannot supply properly rather than taking the order and hoping.
Our values
Four things we do not compromise on
Values are cheap to write down. These are the four we are willing to lose an order over.
Transparency
No hidden fees, no vague availability, no pricing that changes once you have committed. If there is a catch, we tell you about it before you buy.
Consistency
A distributor is only useful if it is predictable. We would rather promise a longer lead time and hit it than promise a short one and miss.
Partnership
Our business grows when our partners reorder. That aligns our interests with yours far better than chasing one large first order ever could.
Accountability
When something goes wrong (and in distribution it sometimes will), you get a person who owns it, not a queue and a reference number.
Distribution expertise
Knowing what to buy is half the job
Anyone can move a pallet. The part that takes experience is deciding which pallet is worth moving: reading how a category behaves, spotting when a line is about to go long on stock, and knowing which seasonal windows close earlier than sellers expect.
That judgment is what we bring to a partnership. We will tell you when a line looks crowded, when a season needs committing to early, and when the freight cost on something heavy quietly eats the margin the unit price appeared to offer.
- Category-level demand and seasonality guidance
- Landed-cost thinking, not just unit price
- Early notice on allocation-limited lines
- Honest guidance when a line is not worth buying
Product sourcing
Beyond the published catalog
The catalog reflects what we hold regularly. It is not the limit of what we can get. Send us a brand, a product and a volume, and we will work our supplier relationships to find it.
If we cannot get it at a cost that leaves you a workable margin, we will say so rather than quoting something that does not make sense to buy. A quote you decline costs us nothing; a bad order costs us a customer.
Quality focus
New, sealed, and described accurately
Everything we ship is new and in sealed retail packaging. Where a product carries a date code, we confirm the remaining shelf life in writing before you commit, not after the pallet arrives.
Accurate description matters more than flattering description. A surprise on arrival costs you far more than it costs us, and it ends the relationship either way.
Customer support
A person, not a queue
Approved partners get a named contact who knows what you sell and what you bought last time. Not a shared inbox, not a ticket number.
Most of what a seller needs from a distributor is small and urgent: a straight answer on availability, a document produced quickly, a delivery problem resolved without an argument. That is the part we work hardest to get right.
Long-term partnerships
Our business grows when yours reorders
A distributor whose revenue depends on repeat orders has its incentives pointed the same way as its customers'. Ours are.
It means we would rather lose a large first order than win it on terms we cannot repeat. It means flagging when a line is about to run short instead of waiting for you to notice. It means telling you about the seasonal window that closes in March, in January.
Approved partners get advance notice on allocation-limited stock, forward planning on seasonal categories, and pricing tiers that improve as their commitment does.
